There is a little known fact that teachers love school supplies, and even more than that, getting them for cheap. Or...maybe that is just me and not all teachers. What I do know is that while we are still in the middle of summer, school supplies are expensive and any good deals are worth shopping now. So, where are these amazing deals?
Office Depot has weekly school supply deals on their website, but you are not going to see these advertised in their sale papers. That being said, getting crayons for $.38 and 30 glue sticks for $6.00 is worth the time spent browsing their online school section to see the current deals each week. Plus, you can order online and pick up in store to avoid shipping costs and the crowds you might find at the store.
My next school supply go to is, of course, Amazon. The reason I shop with them is the ability to buy supplies in bulk. Some great bulk finds are:
96 Ticonderoga #2 Pencils for just $9.96! These are a great deal if your school requires students to use Ticonderoga pencils.
AmazonBasics Pre-sharpened #2 Pencils, 150 Pack for $12.99. You read correctly, it says PRE-SHARPENED!!
June Gold 72 Mechanical Pencil Set for $12.99. This one is a great deal because it also has 16 replacement erasers and lead refills.
6 Set Package of Avery 8-Tab Binder Dividers for $6.56! This is such a great deal for 6 complete sets of colored 8-tab dividers. These aren't the only places you can find deals on school supplies, but currently they are the places I have found the best ones. Have you found any steals on school supplies? Share them in the comments section!
