Potty Training: The Struggle is REAL!

Being the mom of two toddlers who just made it to summer break, I started my summer with one goal in mind...get my tiny humans potty trained. Going into this, I have done my research and read some best practices so I can be successful with this, but unfortunately, it's just not working as easily as I thought. I have purchased both a small potty chair that makes noise when it flushes (which they can work perfectly) and a seat that fits on the toilet since I am trying to work with both at the same time.

I knew this was going to be a challenge with my son, who has an overabundance of energy and a teeny tiny attention span, but my daughter is proving to be just as difficult as he is. So now I start asking myself, what is it that I am doing wrong? I am taking them to the bathroom at regular intervals, encouraging them, and even put up a sticker chart for each of them to reward their progress with toys!
The further we got into this process, the more frustrating it gets. So with that, are you a mom who rocked potty training? Please share your secrets in the comments section and help a struggling mom out!
