I recently made the two-hour drive to attend the Nourished Festival in Dallas, Texas. It had been several years since I had been, so I figured it was time to check it out and meet some new brands. The table that I dropped the most cash with (because they have DELICIOUS products) is Aleia's.

I have tried the Aleia's brand once before in the form of Italian Bread Crumbs. This product thoroughly impressed me, so when I saw that they had many other products I decided to give them a try.
One of their newest items is their Coat & Crunch products. These are essentially the gluten-free alternative to Shake & Bake. They have two varieties you can purchase, Extra Crispy and Crispy Spicy.

The night of the festival, I came home and decided to cook the Crispy Spicy one because my husband (who is not gluten-free) really wanted to try it. To use this product, all you do is take one of the bags from the box and fill it with the Coat & Crunch mixture. Then, you drop your chicken that has been lightly drizzled with oil in the bag and shake to coat it. Thre are two bags and two packets of the mix, but since I am cooking for my entire family, I ended up using the second bag as well. The chicken gets thoroughly coated quite easily and then you put it onto a baking sheet and pop it in the oven to bake. This is such a simple dinner with barely any prep time required.

For the actual meal itself, I combined the chicken with some microwave steamed broccoli that was in fact purchased in the freezer aisle at my grocery store. It was a perfect meal! The one thing I will say is that if you don't like spicy food, you should definitely avoid the Crispy Spicy mixture as it is exactly what it says. Luckily, you still have the Extra Crispy mix to enjoy. The next day, we took the leftover chicken from the night before and sliced it up to put with queso on some amazing spicy chicken nachos.
Aleia's Coat & Crunch products are definitely on my go-to list for easy gluten-free dinner. Plus, at $4.99 for a box of two mixes, a great dinner doesn't have to cost a fortune.
